We create lamps made entirely of rice paper. Why? Because Korean artisans found that good quality rice paper can last more than 1000 years. This traditional process involves many layers and much drying time, a process similar to ˇ°paper macheˇ±. The reason for our work is to create pieces in the ancient manner and hand the process down to future generations. Our lamps are very unique. For added strength we hide a metal frame inside the stem, and add a clear plastic inside the shade for strength and resistance to collapse. All lamps have a 3-way touch dimmer switch built in for adjusting the level of light to your comfort.
